Dhikala Zone

The Dhikala Zone is the most popular and largest safari zone in Jim Corbett. Known for its rich biodiversity, it offers excellent opportunities to spot Royal Bengal Tigers, wild elephants, and numerous bird species. Staying at Dhikala FRH provides panoramic views of the Ramganga River and grasslands. It houses multiple Forest Rest Houses including Annexe FRH (7 rooms), New FRH (4 rooms), Cabin (3 rooms), and dormitories with 8 beds.

Bijrani Zone

Bijrani Zone is known for its picturesque landscape consisting of sal forests, open grasslands, and stream beds. The zone is ideal for day safaris and has a higher probability of tiger sightings. The Bijrani FRH offers basic accommodation and is a top choice among tourists for a short jungle getaway.

Jhirna Zone

The Jhirna Zone remains open all year round, making it a unique attraction. It features dry deciduous forests and is good for spotting sloth bears and leopards. Jhirna FRH offers visitors a rustic stay experience right in the heart of the wild.

Dhela Zone

Dhela is the newest ecotourism zone in Corbett and is open throughout the year. This zone is rich in flora and fauna and is perfect for bird watchers. The forest rest house here provides a tranquil environment ideal for nature photography and peaceful stays.

Phanto Zone

Located in the Kalagarh Tiger Reserve area, Phanto Zone is relatively less explored. It offers a calm and undisturbed safari experience with chances to see leopards, tigers, and elephants. The FRH here is nestled amid thick forests and tranquil surroundings.

Pakhro Zone

The Pakhro Zone is also part of the Kalagarh division. Known for its dense forest cover and hilly terrain, it attracts tourists looking for a peaceful jungle experience. The FRH offers scenic views and wildlife activity right outside your window.

Sonanadi Zone

Sonanadi is a scenic zone situated along the banks of the Sonanadi River. It is famous for its diverse range of birdlife and is a paradise for bird watchers. The Halduparao and Rathuadhab FRHs in this zone provide simple yet immersive forest accommodation.
